 t is the Chamber's direct sales opportunity for members\, giving participa
 nts the opportunity to determine quickly if there is a fit in meeting each
  other's business or personal consumer needs. It's fun\, fast and very eff
 ective. The Jan. 21 session will be held at Insurance Partners Group\, Ltd
 .\, 25 W. New England Ave.\, from 8:15 to 10 a.m. (Check-in is at 8:15 a.m
 . Please be sure to arrive at this time so the start of the timed exercise
  will not be delayed.) The event will end at 10 a.m. If the address sounds
  familiar ... you're correct. It's the same building where you will find t
 he Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce\, a tenant of Insurance Partners G
 roup\, Ltd. While attending the QuickConnect\, be sure to check out the of
 fice space currently available in the building (will you or one of your fr
 iends be the Chamber's new neighbor?) and stop in the Chamber office to ha
 ve a beverage and discuss opportunities for involvement and promotion. The
  QuickConnect session is structured so that each participant will make one
 -on-one contact with 10 others. Participants face each other and have 90 s
 econds to discuss their company's products or services. Following each con
 tact\, participants indicate the next steps\, including talking further ab
 out doing business\; not a fit\; and offering a referral. Prior to the ses
 sion\, participants are provided a business profile/feedback form to compl
 ete and bring 11 copies to the session. Please note: You should plan to at
 tend QuickConnect ONLY if you have received a confirmation of your attenda
 nce and a copy of the questionnaire to complete\, or a notice that your bu
 siness category is full and you will scheduled at another date. Considerab
 le care is taken to match QuickConnect participants with other Chamber con
 nections. Therefore\, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins or unregistere
 d attendees for this session. For the same reasons\, it is important that 
 you contact us to cancel if you will be unable to fill your scheduled spac
 e at QuickConnect so that we can rearrange the networking layout to ensure
  others are not inconvenienced. QuickConnect is free for members who pre-r
 egister -- but\, beginning in January 2010\, there is a $10 fee for those 
 who cancel without notification. To make the session as meaningful as poss
 ible to participants\, the number of businesses from a single business cat
 egory (banks\, insurance\, financial services\, etc.) will be limited to t
 wo businesses. In addition\, members who have not previously participated 
 in QuickConnect are given preference over those from the same business cat
 egory who have attended a recent session. This procedure expands interest 
 in QuickConnect and helps all participants receive the maximum benefit fro
