 n - Worthington March 10\, 2009 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Business and community le
 aders\, educators\, students and experts in character education will conve
 ne March 10 from 8-9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn - Worthington for a collab
 orative breakfast forum focusing on “Integrity in Tough Times.” The pu
 blic is encouraged to join the dialogue for a stimulating discussion of le
 adership character ethics from its roots in our local schools\, through th
 e young workforce\, in small business and larger\, manufacturing facilitie
 s\, and in the legislative arena. Kathryn Paugh\, executive director of th
 e Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce\, will serve as emcee and convener.
  Moderators and facilitators for the forum are Kip Morse\, president of th
 e Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio and BBB’s Center for Character 
 Ethics\, and Mike Thomson\, Ph.D. “Dr. Mike\,” as he is known around t
 he country\, is the host of the award-winning PBS series\, “In Search of
  Character\,” as well as "The Learning Lunchbox\," and author of numerou
 s books on character and education. He has lectured to more than 2 million
  people worldwide. Panelists from the community will include: Representing
  education: Melissa Conrath\, superintendent of Worthington Schools Joe Do
 novan\, a student from Worthington Kilbourne High Schools Representing gov
 ernment: Kevin Bacon\, state representative\, Ohio House District 21 Repre
 senting small and large businesses: Cathy Mayne Lyttle\, vice president\, 
 Worthington Industries Tom Hastings\, owner\, Computer Site Columbus \, an
 d the 2008 Small Business Person of the Year honoree from the Worthington 
 Area Chamber of Commerce Representing non-profit associations targeting ch
 aracter education: Debbie Sawyer\, executive director\, Partners for Citiz
 enship and Character Lucy Frontera\, Ph.D\, Ohio Partners in Character Edu
 cation Check-in and networking with community leaders and panelists will t
 ake place from 7:30 to 8 a.m. Panelists will respond to moderators’ ques
 tions from 8 to 9 a.m.\, followed by a period of audience questions to the
  panelists from 9 to 9:30. Guests will enjoy Holiday Inn’s All-American 
 breakfast (vegetarian option available on request). The cost to attend is 
 $17 per person for members of PCC or the Chamber and $22 for non-members.
