DESCRIPTION:Teapots On Tour is an outreach project presented by Jan Allmon 
 Studio Gallery in Worthington\, Ohio. Fifteen percent of the sale of each 
 teapot will be donated to Flying Horse Farms\, according to Jan Allmon\, g
 allery owner. She explained that teapots were selected because decorative 
 teapots are a unique art form that are widely collected. Please join us No
 vember 22nd at TehKu for live music\, tea\, and Teapots on Tour! Flying Ho
 rse Farms is a nonprofit organization committed to creating a fun\, safe a
 nd supportive camp experience and year round retreat for children with ser
 ious illnesses\, as well as the entire family. Inspired by and modeled aft
 er the late Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall camps\, Flying Horse Farms is
  currently working with the Association of Hole in the Walls Camps to beco
 me the first Hole in the Wall Camp in the Midwest. Scheduled to open in 20
 10 on 195 acres of gently rolling hills\, five lakes\, woods\, trails\, me
 ad and wetlands near Mt. Gilead\, Ohio\, it’s sole purpose is to inspire
  children with serious illnesses to reach beyond their diseases and embrac
 e the healing power of unbridled fun! The organization is supported by al 
 the Children’s Hospitals throughout Ohio by providing medical staff for 
 the camp\, as well as refer to us many of the more than 34\,000 children w
 ho face serious illnesses. The teapots are made from ceramic\, glass and m
 etal. They will be featured at special tea parties throughout Columbus beg
 inning November 13. Nick Miesen\, Director of Development of Flying Horse 
 Farms expressed appreciation that the gallery selected his organization as
  the beneficiary of Teapots On Tour. He added that through the efforts of 
 Jan Allmon Studio Gallery that this artistic endeavor will raise awareness
  and contribute to making Flying Horse Farms a reality for Ohio’s childr
 en who have serious illnesses such as arthritis\, asthma\, cancer\, gastro
 intestinal disease\, heart disease\, sickle cell disease and other blood r
 elated disorders. Among the artisans participating in Teapots On Tour are 
 Suzanne Crane\, Earlysville\, VA\; Claudia and Michael Zeber-Martell\, Akr
 on\, OH\; Paul Counts\, San Marcos\, CA\; John Britt\, Bakersville\, NC an
 d JoAnne Bedient\, Ft. Myers\, FL. Many of the artisans have been featured
  in national art publications and participated in prominent\, juried art s
 hows. Jan Allmon opened her studio gallery in August and plans to do an an
 nual community outreach event. She said it’s important that businesses l
 ike hers give back to the community in a meaningful way. David and Jenni B
 elford of Mt. Gilead are the founders of Flying Horse Farms. They will be 
 matching 1:1 all proceeds donated from this special event. Up to 2500 chil
 dren and families will be served per year without any cost to the children
