DESCRIPTION:Relay For Life® is a fun-filled overnight event designed to br
 ing together those who have been touched by cancer in our community. At th
 e event\, we celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American C
 ancer Society in its mission to save lives\, help those who have been touc
 hed by cancer\, and empower individuals to fight back. During the event\, 
 teams of people gather at schools\, fairgrounds\, or parks and take turns 
 walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member
