Telhio Credit Union Business Development Manager BJ Stone makes it a priority to do business with other chamber members. At the Chamber’s 2006 golf outing she was teamed up with Bob Roof, president of Business Partner of Polaris, whom she had never met before.

While their foursome may not have had the lowest score at the outing, BJ and Bob had an enjoyable day on the golf course and learned about each other’s business.

Bob’s company is a one-stop marketing store, which includes promotional gifts. As a result, BJ is now purchasing gifts to recognize and develop good working relationships with members of the credit
union.

What started as a golf outing relationship has resulted in a strong business relationships. Now that’s even better than a hole in one!

Chamber Calendar of Events

Each year the Chamber holds many events to help members make connections with other members, develop business relationships and grow their businesses. These include luncheons, Business After Hours, Lunch and Learn sessions, Quick Connects, seminars, special events and many more.
