Member Surveys
Listening to members and using this feedback to act
on behalf of the membership or to improve the
effectiveness of the organization are essential to
maintaining a strong organization responsive to its
members. The Chamber periodically seeks the views of its
members through surveys on
issues facing the local business community, the
effectiveness of the Chamber’s operations and services
to members, and potential new benefits and services.

you have a suggestion for a Chamber Poll,

Member Perspectives
Do you have an interesting perspective from which to
approach a new issue or common concern of owners,
managers or sales people regarding their business? Can
you share light on a controversial topic related to your
industry? Would you like to give your fellow chamber
members a business tip
that can save or earn them extra time and money? Then
click here to submit a Member Perspective article for
inclusion here on the Chamber’s Web site. Submissions
should be no more than 300 words and be of a general nature
rather than to promote a specific business. The
Chamber’s public relations/marketing committee will
review submissions for appropriateness and relevancy to
member needs before placing them here.

more responsive to its members? What about an idea for a

event and have some recommendations on how we can
improve it? By

feedback with Chamber staff and board members.
Member Connections
Many of the Chamber’s programs and activities are
designed to help members make connections with other
members and develop business relationships. We’d like to
hear from members about how the Chamber has fostered
these business relationships and share these special
connection stories with members here on our Web site, in
our newsletter and other communications with members.
Did you make a meaningful connection
by attending a Business After Hours or Quick Connect
session? Did you gain some business through a flyer
inserted into the Chamber’s newsletter packet? Did your
involvement in a Chamber committee lead to a
relationship with another member that resulted in a sale
or a referral that led to a sale? Did you sponsor a
Chamber event that led to
new business? Did you meet a member that resulted in a
business partnership or joint community enrichment
program?
There are many ways that Chamber
Connections assist members. Here’s your opportunity to
tell others.
Click here to share your connection story.
Be sure to include your name and the nature of your
business, how you made your connection through the
Chamber, the business name and person in the business
with whom you made the connection, and the results that
occurred
through your Chamber Connection. And then look for your
story on one of our Web site pages. |
