Member Survey Results
2009 Membership and Annual Business Forecast Survey
 For
more than a decade, our Chamber has extended to our
members annual opportunities to offer feedback on
Chamber services and to share their views on the local
business economy.
Member feedback on Chamber events and programs helps
the Chamber's board of trustees and staff determine the
future direction of our organization and strengthen our
member services. Survey data on local business
conditions also is helpful in forecasting; this
information is shared with with our members and our
partners in local government at the annual Groundhog Day
Business Forecast Breakfast.
Understanding that our members' needs — and the
Chamber's response through programming and connection
opportunities — are closely tied to the current economy,
the Chamber combined requests for feedback into one
survey in January 2009. A summary of the results and
responses is included above. All open-ended
comments are provided anonymously.
