Mike Roney is a respected voice in the financial
services industry with three decades of experience
managing individual and corporate accounts. A disciple
of the business, his family founded Roney & Company in
the Detroit area in 1925, which became affiliated with
Raymond James in 1999. Today he and his team continue to
build on a legacy of trusted financial experience handed
down through generations.
Mike is a Wealth Management Specialist, Registered
Securities Principal and
Registered Investment Representative
of Raymond James
& Associates,
Inc. As founder of
The Roney Group, he leads a
team
dedicated to providing clients with the
knowledge, expertise, and personal service they need to
make educated investment
and planning
decisions.
A Worthington resident for 18 years,
Mike is passionate about the downtown area and
understands the challenges facing independently owned
retail businesses. He was in the retail business for
nearly eight years in Birmingham, MI, where he served on
the local chamber’s retail board. He has also been
involved in real estate development and redevelopment.
In addition, during his 10-year employment at The Ohio
Company, he was involved with its asset management and
trust operations.
Mike serves as the Chamber’s
representative on the Community Improvement Corporation
(CIC) of the City of Worthington and on the Chamber’s
economic development committee. He also serves on the
Market Day, advocacy and retention committees.
Mike is an active member of Charity
Newsies and is a member of York Golf Club. He and his
wife live in Worthington. |
