Term: 2000-2011
Anthony Lordo, D.D.S., has a growing
dental practice in Worthington (and also in Mansfield),
where he excels in cosmetic, reconstructive, sedation
and implant dentistry.
For more than a decade, Tony has been a part-time
faculty member at The Ohio State College of Dentistry
Nisonger Dental Center, treating patients with mental
and physical challenges and serving as an instructor in
dental care practices for people with special needs.
Tony earned his undergraduate degrees and his doctorate
in dental surgery at The Ohio State University. While
attending OSU, he and his wife, Kimberly, launched a
rental and renovation company that specializes in campus
housing. They also renovated a home in Clintonville,
where they now live with their daughter, Lucia.
Tony purchased Dr. Schindler’s dental practice in May
2006 and became a Chamber member later that year. His
office has been a sponsor of Reds, Whites & Desserts for
two years, and he and his staff have attended Business
After Hours, the annual staff appreciation luncheon and
other Chamber events.
Tony enjoys participating in “Special Smiles” at the
Special Olympics, riding all-terrain vehicles, skiing,
and spending time with his family in a 1967 Chevelle
show car.
A proud graduate of Leadership Worthington’s 2008 class,
he would like to see the Chamber extend its partnerships
with non-profit organizations. He will work with the
proposed Young Professionals of Worthington group within
the Chamber and strive to help new businesses benefit
from the Chamber’s support and programming. |
